I am a graduate of the Royal College or Art (2005) and a Textile Maker, based in Wales, working predominantly in paper and cloth.
My creative practice is connected to nature and the common lands that I have grown up around. Using wild flora as visual metaphors for my matrilineally alongside the misdirection of what it is to be common, what it is to belong; be it to people or places. The notion of Hiraeth. What it is to be found or to be seen. To feel at home.
These ideas culminate as objects and texts; conversations of kinship, sisterhood and sameness. Making as a tool for remembering, honouring the lore of my childhood and celebrating what is to be found in the loss.
