Artist Statement

"I started work on this collection in January 2024. The embroidered maps evolved into embellished maps, which led to the creation of sewn compasses and copper/verdigris compasses you could play with. The choice copper compasses then emerged and the embroidered birds with maps and words on their wings just came along for the ride. I hope you enjoy this exhibition follow me… it's this way …"
