In this two and a half hour workshop you will learn how to design and make a paper cut stencil that you can then print on to a tea towel!
To start, you will be making some screen prints on paper using existing designs to cut as stencils initially to learn the basics.
Once you have that basic understanding, we will then move on to making a more detailed design and print in two colours that you'll print your own tea towel.
I will help you develop your own ideas for a print – source materials to develop your design will be provided but feel free to bring your own images to work from.
We will be using water based acrylic printing ink as well as craft knives to cut the stencils.
Wearing old clothes is advisable or bring an apron.
