Cheers to good ideas!

It’s great to be asked to make something unusual and fun, using our creativity and framing skills to deliver something special is always a delight.

When Chalfont St Peter based bar Vinny & Ted contacted us about a framing idea, we knew we could make them something special.

Vinny and Ted are an independent bottle shop specialising in craft ales from smaller local, national, and international breweries – and a great spot to relax if you like to unwind with a drink (BTW!) …. Matt and Martin have been collecting many of the small batch beer cans that have been served, as each one is covered in great designs and artwork.

They had an idea of displaying them in the shop as a truly unique piece of art and contacted us to complete the project.

We worked out a good size and format of frame to fit in the space and how many cans we would require to fill the area. Selecting a deep box frame, we were able to build and fit a collection of cans for permanent display.

I feel this might become a feature in the shop and as Vinny and Ted serve new designs and new suppliers, the opportunity to make more 3D box frame collections may arise.

I do hope so, as I produced great a frame design.

Join Vinny and Ted to celebrate their first birthday this weekend, They will be serving their very own English hopped pale ale called The Long Hop, and you can check out their fabulous beer and the frame for yourself.
